Music suggestions please?

Question

I'm in need of some good new music, please don't suggest any people like Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, or any other really mainstream artists. I don't have anything against them, it's just that I know who they are, there's no need to suggest them. I don't listen to them. I have a pretty diverse taste in music, I'll list some people for you to base your suggestions off of. Thanks in advance.

I see you like some J-pop too. Well right now I really like MGMT (very original and diverse), and Incubus. I really like to get away from the mainstream as well, it opens you up to a whole new level of unique and powerful music. try Bana - Shell, beautiful vocals and Do as Infinity is great too as well as Adele she's amazing. Macy Gray too. Just suggestions! I hope they helped.
