Are divorcees legally allowed to live under the same roof until one spouse finds new arrangements?

With no sexual contact of course. State of Maryland.

Unless there's a valid, signed court order that disallows it, then yes. And, beyond one party seeking a restraining order, I can't think of any reasonable circumstance that would give a judge cause to issue such an order.

If both parties are willfully entering into the living arrangement, then, of course. There's no law against two consenting adults living together - whether they're divorcees or not.

There is nothing stopping them. Any two people may live together married or not.

However (and this is the big one most people seem to be forgetting) that's if they have a finalized divorce and it's already over and done with. In order to get a mutually-agreed upon no-fault divorce granted by the court in Maryland, the couple MUST live apart for 1 year. Otherwise the divorce will not be granted. But that's really the only time when it's an issue.

Sure, as long as they can get along and the emotions don't keep messing peace and quiet and harmony up.
