Do you agree with the conservative viewpoint that BP is a "victim" of the Obama administration?
I would have a responded to a user's question asserting that BP was a "victim" of Obama, but unfortunately, that particular user has blocked me, so I can't.

Not sure if I could agree that BP is a victim. Government didn't cause the leak, make anybody miss proper safety inspections, didn't prevent them from repair etc... BP caused the worst US oil spill ever. not sure how that could make them a victim in anybodies mind.
On the other hand the government may use this as a high profile example of why government needs large powers since "obviously the free market can't correct its own problems"(this is what I perceive to be a future message that govt uses).
The Obama administration should have stepped right away. Democrats are typically touted as being stewards of the environment way more than republicans and should have taken this opportunity to prove that to their supporters. Other big failure is - find the people to sue/jail once its fixed. Don't posture in front of sentate while they are trying to fix. When you attack too early, people think they've lost and may give up on repairs.

Im not a conservative. STOP THINKING LIKE THAT AND THINK FOR YOUR SELF!!! When you put your self in little groups you become a robot. You become just like every one else in that group. So just because your not a conservative dose not mean you cant think something a conservative would think. Its really stupid...
