does an AP course grade count more on the gpa?

    Yes it does. It counts more on the weighted GPA by ususally .75 and honors are .5 at my highschool anyway, but it should count more for every highschool too.

    AP is most of the time a college level course if you are in high school it might be weighted so an A would count as a 5.0 instead of a 4.0 some schools dont do that but mine does so even if you get a B itll still be a 4.0 and when colleges are looking at your courses they will be more impressed because you got a 4.0 with AP classes

    Every school system does it differently. At mine, they just added on 0.04 for every semester of an AP class that you took. Some gave you an extra point in the calculation (A = 5 instead of 4, etc). Ask the counselor. They'll know.
