When Jesus drank wine, did he drink it from a glass, or did he chug directly from the box?

Apparently he chugged the stuff straight from the box.

    Matthew 11:19

"The Son of Man came eating and drinking and they said, 'Look, he is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.' But wisdom is vindicated by her works."

Of course, right after that excuses are made for him..... typical enabling.

"But wisdom is shown to be right by what results from it."

So it did not matter that Jesus was a drunk as long as wisdom came from him. Being an alcoholic was not always a bad thing. MADD, did a whole lot to change our perspective on drinking and more specifically drinking and driving. Before the 1970's there were a lot more people partying hearty like Jesus!

They didn't have boxes back then, and only the rich would have had drinking glasses. Jesus was a peasant. He would've drunk wine from wineskins (the bottles of their day; they were rather like Camelback water bags) or from cups, which were probably made from clay.

Thunderbird doesn't come in a box. I wish it did, though.
