About making a garden shed rainproof.?

Although my shed is tongued and grooved, I notice that water seems to have seeped in between the boards. It never used to have a musty smell in it, but now it has. This is putting a smell on the contents, too. Is there anything I can do about this? Is there something, like a silicone, maybe, that I could seal the boards with? Thanks.

You don't say if this is the walls or the roof.

On the roof you should have tar paper and shingles to make it waterproof.

On the walls you should give it two coats of a good exterior paint.
