after i do my workout and my muscles in my arms start to burn does that mean im geting stronger?

That means your arms are tired from the stress you put on them, but yes it does mean your getting stronger. If you do a work out and don't feel that after it means you didnt put enough effort into your work out.

When you feel the burn, you are really feeling lactic acid buildup in your muscles. This means you gave yourself a tough workout, but it really has to do more with endurance than strength. Muscle soreness is how you get stronger. Your muscles get slightly damaged when you put in a hard workout, and when your body repairs them, they get stronger.
