What would your dream festival lineup be?

doesn't matter if their alive or not, mine would consist of these bands

Blackmore's Night

Deep Purple as headliners sort of like a Purplefest

would have to have Black Sabbath as special guests too

BQ: would you see the lineup I mention above?

BQ - Yes, I would go see this lineup if the tickets were not outrageously priced.

All other things being equal, I tend to lean toward wanting to see artists I have not already seen. That being the case, here is my dream festival lineup, limiting myself to five bands as you did:

    Headliner - Led Zeppelin

AC/DC with a resurrected Bon Scott

Guns & Roses before Axl's ego became a problem.

Source(s): Good luck and God Bless. Just my opinion. RIP Bonzo and Bon.

    Smashing Pumpkins

    As I Lay Dying

    Led Zeppelin

I would go with five or six completely different bands, so that I'd get a good variety.

    Killswitch Engage

    Bon Jovi

Pink Floyd (Masters of all laser shows)

BQ: I'd be sold immediately on the mention of Dio, Deep Purple, and Black Sabbath.

this is possible the greatest festival line up ever. It's not real unfortunatly and alot of these bands were unheard of in 1969 but the bands are all Legendary only bands missing from the period is Sabbath and the beatles (who were on hiatus from touring at this time).

BQ: Black Sabbath in there prime, Ozzy as Front man

p.s. might aswell stick Heaven and hell to your line up since the guys are already there :D

    Source(s): RIP Dio
