AUSTRALIAN ABN/TFN/CASH IN HAND please HELP?

I am an international student.

I have an ABN and i am working as a contractor to a website/company.

The company pays me money based on commission.

However, i want to employ someone below me to do some menial jobs.

I do not want to pay the person CASH IN HAND.

The job will be 1, 2 or a maximum of 3 days and not more.

HOW CAN I PAY HIM LEGALLY.

HOW TO PAY USING HIS AND MY ABN?

Help would be immensely appreciated.

Your employee applies for an ABN from the tax office website.

You subcontract to them and they provide you with an invoice form payment once the work is done using their ABN as the reference.

You pay them, using your ABN as reference.

Both you and the employee then complete tax returns at the end of the financial year including the transactions for the subcontracted work.

Get the person who is going to work for you to apply for an ABN. This is free and can be done on the ATO website.

That way you can legally pay them and you won't have to withhold tax for him or her. This person will then invoice you for their work.
