Were passenger's allowed on Titanic's bridge?

Were passenger's of the Titanic allowed near the or on/at the bridge, and on the bow? for instance, could you really be like "Jack" and stand on the very tip of the bow?

Sure they were... proof of this is in pictures and postcards and letters, as well as survivor stories.

The Titanic disaster caused many-many new safety laws and regulations, from radio use and procedures to number of life boats, etc. Yet cruise ship passengers today are free to walk around on the bridge deck... that had nothing to do with the disaster.

Only at the specific invitation of the Captain.

The film was ludicrous. Many of the scenes simply could not have happened.
