I been a liberal supporter my whole life, but i will put that aside for the moment.
I just feel i should put forward my absolute disgust at how a Prime Minister of Australia has been treated.
I have never agreed with Labor policys. They have failed miserably in the past. Some have been sucessful i must say.
However, is this how we run our country?
A midnight knock on the prime ministers door, followed by a morning meeting and saying see you later Prime Minister.
I do think Rudd as a Prime Minister deserves more respect than that. Its simply not how you rtreat a person who does wake in the early morning and finish work very late at night. Never reall off duty so to speak.
So where does the labor party get of on treating a Prime Minister in tha respect.
As a dedicated man, he deserves better, as a hard worker he deserves better. As Prime Minister he certainly deserves more respect than to be "let go" the way he was.
This is a sad day for the labor party. Not a happy one.
Regardless of whether Gillard will do a good job or not. You simply just dont treat a prime minister that way.
We dont dismiss a Prime Minister in such a fasion in Australia. We need to have more respect for ourselves and the people who do put in the hard yards to try and run the country.
Its one thing to have no confidence in your party leader . Its another to dismiss him the way they did.
Prime Ministers deserve more respect than that.
Since the Bottom line is, labor party member make up the policies and the Prime Minister sells them. If anything Labor party members are more culpable for failed polices than the Prime Minister.
For that reason , he should have been treated better by his own.
