Do you have to have special permission to do a parody video?

I'm wrote a song that has the same tune as California gurls by Katy perry. I Call it Georgia gurls. Do i have to get permission to film my version on youtube? I dont want to get into trouble

    No, you do not. In Campbell v. Acuff-Rose Music, Inc.(1989) the Supreme Court of the United States recognized parody as a fair use not subject to suits for copyright infringement.

    No, Its all in Fair use, as long as you dont use any content fomr the actual piece of work. make sure its a parody not a full on music video , that may get you in trouble . also dont use any music from the actual song.
