For all the hype and bluster on these boards, why hasn't the GOP started impeachment proceedings yet?

Their supporters constantly "drone on" about the crimes that Obama and company has committed, yet why haven't we seen any "action" by the Republican Party as of yet?

What are they waiting for? Ken Starr to take the reigns or somebody to find another blue dress?

People!!!! People!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a damn grip!!!!!!!!

dang! If everyone can hold their piss and vinegar for a moment, let's look at this intelligently.

First and foremost.......IMPEACHMENT proceedings need a CRIME to have occured.

Unless you name the crime........you're pissing up a rainbow.

With Bush, there were half a dozen legitimate complaints to follow, but the second problem is that Impeachment proceedings start in the House.....which is why NO IMPEACHMENT proceedings were started on Bush, because you would NEVER get the votes you needed, no matter how right you were, just as the Pubs will NEVER get the votes THEY need, even IF Obama were to commit a crime, or they could actually NAME one , that he was committed.

At the end of the day, you need the crime, and the majority in the house, (or at least a serious enough offense that isn't politcally motivated, that even your own party will censure you for) or else you're just blowing smoke.

All the losers here blowing smoke about crimes that Obama has committed,.......

NAME THEM, and PROVE he committed them. Otherwise......Shut the eff up.

Most of them can form a coherent sentence so they really don't believe the stuff they write and are trying to rile people up.

I don't even think most of them are old enough to vote, or motivated enough to go to the polls.

There is so much ignorance about the process that its easy to see who has the knowledge, and who you may have a difference of opinion with, and who is just repeating nonsense to get a reaction.

Answers is just a way to pass the time, serious politicians in the major parties don't follow the ideas here, although some of them may plant a seed and see if it grows, but on the whole its just a pastime, not an accurate assessment of how the country feels.

People calling for impeachment have no idea of the agony it puts a country through, its not a funtime to bash your least favorite person. No serious person of any party would advocate it for frivolous reasons. Obama has done nothing to warrant putting the nation throught such a terrible situation. One does need a crime not an accusation without proof.

Because GOP officials are smarter than that, they know if they call for Obama to be impeached then the Democrats will call Bush to be brought up on War Crimes charges and the American Political System will crumble with every politician going for each others throats and not getting anything done.

They Can't, they don;t have the power, it starts in the House, and the Democrats are the Majority and if the house were to get the votes which as already stated is impossible, then the Senate wouldn't have enough votes to convict anyway. The voters will make it all clear in November when they do change the Power in both chambers of Congress.

In order to impeach a crime must be committed - hate, fear mongering , envy is not a crime. But the good news is they may be able to try and start if they get enough seats & its been proven how much the GOP loves to waste money on lost cause's.

Because much like the libs on this board that wanted to see Bush and Cheney indicted for "war crimes" we are not in a position to take action on impeachment. That has to be done in congress. With the majority in congress in the president's party it would be a futile gesture.

After Republicans take over Congress in the fall the investigation into White House bribes to people not to run in primaries and the bribes and intimidation used to buy votes during the health debacle will begin.

The Obama Thug government will be prosecuted.

You apparently don't understand how Congress works. Impeachment proceedings must start in the House, and the House is under the control of Democrats, notably Pelosi.

I don't see anywhere near the calls for impeaching Obama as I did Bush. Personally, I don't think they can impeach a President for being an idiot, if they could Obama would have been gone long ago.

You act like this has never happened before! Where were you during the 8 years of Bush?! Just about every thing posted on here by a Lib has the words inpeach Bush in it and yet still no impeachment procedings by the Democrats?!

The only thing consistant about the Left is their hypocrisy and double standards!
