    Feminine Power - Zahir/Batin

Laylatul Qadr is the most blessed night. A person who misses it has indeed missed a great amount of good. The Mu’min should search for it in the last ten nights of Ramadan, passing the nights in worship and obedience. For those who catch the opportunity, their gift is that of past sins wiped away.

At a more deeper level - the Night of Qadr is a mystery that no-one can really fathom. It is shrouded in mystery and represents the Batin (inner / esoteric) as opposed to the Zahir (outer / exoteric). The Surah is believed tohave been revealed at the time of birth of the Beloved's daighter, Fatima tul Zehra (Fatima the Radiant, Fatima the Brightest Star, Fatima-Star of Venus, Fatima-The Evening Star).

She embodies and represents the unknown or the hidden. Indeed, the fact that the verses state that one night is better than thousand months represents the potency of the Batin over the Zahir, the Feminine over the Masculine.

...and people think Islam is misogynistic!

  • Khatoon-e- Jannat Hazrat Fatima Radi Allahu anha?
Hazrat Hudhaifah Radi Allahu anhu narrates that the Noble Prophet Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam said, “There is an angel who before tonight had never come down to earth, asked permission from his Lord to offer salam (salutations) to me and to deliver the good news to me that Fatimah Radi Allahu anha is the leader of all women of Paradise and Hazrat Hasan Radi Allahu anhu and Hazrat Husain Radi Allahu anhu are the leaders of all the youngsters in Paradise.

Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari Radi Allahu anhu narrates that Noble Prophet Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam said, “On the Day of Judgement an announcer from the depths of the Throne will announce, ‘Oh people! Bow your heads and lower your gazes so that Fatimah daughter of Muhammad can cross the Bridge ( sira t).’ She will pass in the company of seventy thousand servants from the hur-ul-in ( superior female servants in Paradise) who will be like flashes of lightning."
