Small drill for beading. Help please. Jewelry making.?

Im trying to find a drill to put holes in stones for jewelry making but really dont know if they make any special for jewelry making or what. Prefered something smaller.

    You can buy diamond tipped bits that will fit in your rotary tool or dremel that are made specifically for jewelry. You can even drill holes in rock and jade!

    You need to use a drill with a "masonry" bit. They are only about $2-$3 at any hardware store. Bring in the string you are using with you to the store and show it to the sales guy. He will be able to show you what size drill bit to get that will be big enough for the string to go through and be small enough not to do any unneccesary damage.

    look into a dremel tool set-i use to do the same thing-my dentist even gave me old drill bits that worked good-need to be diamond bits
