Cloud computing is not something you do. It's a concept in which all your computing needs are in the cloud (or the World Wide Web, the Internet, you get the point).

Essentially, they are alternatives to applications on your PC/Mac.

For example, their are many media editors such as:

    Splashup (Photoshop alternative):

    http://splashup.com/

    Aviary (audio/photo editor and more):

    http://aviary.com/

ScreenToaster (free online screen casting tool):

    http://www.screentoaster.com/

    Ajax Animator (Adobe Flash Alternative):

    http://antimatter15.com/ajaxanimator/build/

    JayCut (Video Editor):

    http://jaycut.com/

    And more!

There are also web OS's such as:

    Cloudo:

    http://beta.cloudo.com/

    Online Operating System:

    and

    eyeOS:

    http://eyeos.info/

From these OS's you can do many things such as upload files, word processing etc.

There are some productivity tools online as well:

Google Docs (basic word processing, spreadsheets, and slideshow presentations):

    http://docs.google.com

ZoHo (a wide variety of tools including word processing, spreadsheets, and slideshow presentations as well as many business tools such as calendars, organizers, etc.)

Cloud Computing is a fast-growing concept and can be very useful since almost everyone has access to the Internet!

And yes, you can do cloud computing from home.

Cloud computing keeps all the files in one central location, and everyone works off of one central copy. Employees can even chat to each other whilst making changes together. This whole process makes collaboration stronger, which increases efficiency and improves a company’s bottom line. Cloud computing offers your business many benefits. It allows you to set up what is essentially a virtual office to give you the flexibility of connecting to your business anywhere, any time.
