Before the automobile, the horse-drawn carriage was the primary mean of private

transportation.

1.I find it very unfair when what I do is considered mediocre or a failure. I can be depressed for days because of what happens.

2.Neither success nor money, to me at least, is the criterion under which we are to be judged.

Update:

1.mean可當及物動詞,表示"意謂...,意思是..."(例:What do you mean? );可當形容詞,表示"卑鄙"(例: You are so mean.);可當可數名詞,表示"平均值"(例:The mean value of 3 and 4 should be 3.5) 。

Q:Before the automobile, the horse-drawn carriage was the primary mean of private transportation.

    1. I find it very unfair when what I do is considered mediocre or a failure. I can be depressed for days because of what happens.

    2. Neither success nor money, to me at least, is the criterion under which we are to be judged.
