Good morning Democrats! Are you enjoying Obama's 39% approval rating on this fine day in Conservative America?

haha Democrats, sure looks like Obama Hussein and the Dems are really going down now!

Oil spill, Obamas fault

failed stimulus, Obamas fault

    Oil Spill- BP's fault

failed stimulus-not failed, we are not in a depression

housing crash-that's funny, because he wasn't even in office yet

record unemployment-it was over 20% during the depression, and about where it was when your hero Reagan was prez

two failed wars-yeah, good ol Bush the tard started those so I don't see how you could even blame him for that

Actually everything on that list can be contributed to the policies and actions of previous administrations.. Typical Retardlican, selective amnesia with misguided chauvanism.

Hey, I'm a conservative who despises Obama but submit that we don't need to make up crap like the Democrats do to make our case.

Yeah, you're right with respect to the failed stimulus and the record unemployment. But I don't agree with you about the housing crash. While he hasn't helped, he hasn't hurt. And failed wars? Where do you get that? Bush left him to help pack the bags of the soldiers and Marines in Iraq and that's moving forward. The military is doing a pretty fine job in Afghanistan...I just hope he keeps his nose out of that and doesn't screw it up.

The bigges 'ding' I give him is on this abortion of a health care bill that's ended up resulting in a 30% RISE in the cost of health care for businesses and individuals. Way to go, Barry. To me, personally? That represents an additional $7,000 a year that will never go away and for which I get absolutely nothing...nor does anyone else.

So, yeah, he's f**ked up royally, but let's not make things up to point that out.

And, by the way, here are the numbers from real clear politics. Obama's holding strong at about 47% approval, not 39%. That fact alone amazes the crap out of me. How could so many people still approve of this boy king and his screw ups?

    Poppycock and balderdash!

You must think Americans are truly STUPID if they would trust cult-controlled ECONOMY-DESTROYING Republican right-wingers back into power! Just how is the oil spill "Obama's fault" when it was Cheney's Halliburton that sparked the leak by rupturing a pipe while laying concrete, and it was Reagan who created the corrupt MSS on January 19, 1982, and it was GW Bush's Secretary of Interior who PROMOTED an incompetent oil-affiliated crony in MSS, Chris Oynes (a 12-year employee from the GOP-totalitarian days), even after Oynes was responsible for an off-shore leasing foul-up that cost American taxpayers more than $10 BILLION in lost revenues? Oynes, the Obama administration uncovered, allowed oil industry officials to fill in "inspection" reports IN PENCIL the whole time Republicans were in power, and then had his "oversight" subordinates go over the pencil in INK to have these reports seem authentic.

Since when has the Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (a.k.a., "Stimulus") "failed" as you suggest? The first half of the $787 was distributed in 2009 and the second half has yet to be disbursed---the Recovery Act was designed for a TWO-YEAR distribution in order to gently nudge and sustain our economy over a longer period. Jobs are being created now, slowly but steadily, instead of HEMORRHAGING the 800,000 a month that were being lost in 2008 and the early part of 2009 in the wake of the BUSH/CHENEY/GOP totalitarianism-caused housing/credit markets' COLLAPSE that began, according to National Public Radio's "All Things Considered," in 2004 and 2005 and then the gigantic FINANCIAL SYSTEM MELTDOWN from all the GOP's DEREGULATION and UPSIDE-DOWN ECONOMIC POLICIES (Krugman, 2008)!

Reagan's unemployment figures rose to over 10%, don't forget, so 9.9% in the wake of a GLOBAL RECESSION that was caused by Republican control right here in the U.S. of A., is NOT as you suggest "record unemployment"---and you are conveniently omitting (or overlooking) the new manufacturing projects and plants that have arisen thanks to the Obama administration's ongoing PUSH for his Green Energies Technologies Initiative. Check out states like Ohio, Michigan, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, etc., and you will discover new manufacturing projects for solar panels, solar-powered batteries or cars, wind turbines, windmills, hybrid car batteries, clean-coal technologies, etc. Massachusetts recently announced a new WIND FARM project.

How are the two Bush/Cheney-initiated wars "failed"? The ILLEGAL war in Iraq had our troops pulled back last year, out of the Iraqi cities and towns so that the Iraq army and police trained by our troops could begin to handle their own defense. Iraq's leader Malaki asked the Obama administration if our troops could remain as back-up until after the election (which our troops did) and they are scheduled to return THIS MONTH (June). This return of our troops may cause a temporary SPIKE in unemployment figures---so don't jump the gun on the blame-game if this spike occurs, okay? The war in Afghanistan was FAILING under the Bush/Cheney leadership including at Tora Bora in 2001 when bin Laden could have been captured but the Bush administration refused to okay that capture---perhaps due to the Bush family's long-time friendship with the bin Laden Family of Saudi Arabia (see "Fahrenheit 9/11"). President Obama did exactly what he said he would do during the campaign---he sent reinforcements and also got Russia's leaders (PM Putin and President Medvedev) to let us fly weapons, equipment, and troops through Russian airspace---a remarkable achievement and a cost-cutting one too. The troops in Afghanistan are scheduled for a 2011 return if all goes according to plan.

If every "pole" (as in GOP right-wing hypocrites being hoisted on their "own petard" pole?) says what you claim, how come incumbant Republicans are losing their primaries to their own lab-created Tea Potty-supported candidates? lol

I think there's a concept you should consider.

If the economy continues to improve, if health care is a success, if we’re out of Iraq, if we make progress in Afghanistan and if international relations continue to improve, then the Democratic Party will hold both houses in 2010 and President Obama will be re-elected in a landslide in 2012.

And you and the rest of the Republican Party can sit down and chew on that for yet another four years.

    Please chew quietly.

If conservatives are blaming Obama for the oil spill and housing crash, they are wrong. It may be that people cannot put two and two together.

  • 1 decade ago

    I'm not happy about it.

But, can you tell me which Republicans have a higher approval rating than Obama?

(And Pole's don't talk. I think you mean "Poll")

Oil Spill- lax regulators and BPs fault.... that has Bush written all over it.

Failed Stimulus? Looks like GDP growth is back and we're not in a depression. Win for Obama

Housing Crash? Happened before O won the primaries. Corporate banks fault.

Record Unemployment? Happened before O's inauguration. Now stabilized, Thanks, Barack!

Two failed wars? Bush got us into them. O is getting us out, one at a time. Thanks, Barack!

Stick with the party of "Drill baby drill" and less regulation for wall street, banks, insurance companies, and oil companies. Stick with the party that is, even now, trying to limit the liability of the oil spill for BP (capitalism for profits, socialism for losses) Thats a real winner right there.

Oh, I love it. I am content knowing that the pinheads who voted for insane hussein are just burning up knowing that their 'messiah 0baama' is failing epicly. Us conservatives are taking this country back in November...WHats better is 0baama is only adding fuel to the fire by continuing to fail at the oil spill, economy, budget spending, distancing himself from ALL political events, sent biden to Arlington while he hung out in Chicago, took a vacation from the oil spill, nothing for the housing market, continued increase in unemployment, and the list goes on and on...
