Hot water heater pilot keeps going out only in summer?
We live in Texas and for some reason only in the summer our pilot on the hot water heater goes out. We had a plumber come out and has replaced the thermocouple and temperature control but is still happening. Has this happened to anyone, if so please advice.

The cold air blowing through the air conditioner vent could be the culprit if one is near. That was the solution to a similar problem for me.

without analyzing that's perplexing to assert for optimistic yet changing the thermocouple is the 1st place you should examine. Its an low value section and particularly undemanding to alter. that's going to look as though a skinny tube linked to a copper line that runs on your gas valve. constantly be sure you tutor off your gas till now doing something on your water heater.

yea ..sounds like a some type of wind is blowing it out...do you have an attic fan? or a air handler for a/c near the heater? the newer model heaters have a sealed combustion area that eliminates these problems

99% of the time the thermocouple is the culprit. I would replace it again and see if thats it.
