The UK is for having nuclear weapons. For itself.

The UK believes that Iran shouldn't develop nuclear technology because they might get weapons. Iran says it isn't developing nuclear weapons only nuclear energy for electricity. The UK doesn't believe them.

The UK also said the same the thing about Iraq who turned out not to have nuclear weapons.

Some countries agree with the UK like the US and Germany. Other countries like China and Russia say that Iran has the right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful uses.

Other countries like Brazil, Turkey and India say it is not fair for countries like the UK and US to have nuclear weapons but tell others not to have them.

The UK is for nuclear weapons. That is why we have big submarines full of them creeping about to make all the other countries with nuclear weapons nervous. So far Iran's nuclear weapons usage has been very small. So small that nobody has yet been able to observe any nuclear weapons usage at all.

Iran was invaded by Iraq, with US assistance and had to fight for 8 years against chemical weapons and attacks aided by US supplied satellite intelligence. The Iranians would probably feel a lot safer if they did have some nuclear weapons, particularly as another middle-eastern state has something like 200 and has attacked them in the past.

I believe they could. With the United States' heavily advanced non-nuclear missile arsenal and airforce along with the United Kingdom's advanced navy and royal airforce would stop China from easily invading. The U.S. and U.K. would have a hard time invading China but given enough time a strong military force would eventually get in.

lol for.. we have a fleet of SSNB's each with 16 Trident missiles and 160 replacement missiles, plus a whole load of tactical battlefield nuclear missiles stock piled.

Iran has no nuclear weapons.. even if they manage to develop nuclear weapons they still need a delivery system..

we as Britain Represent the Christian west, always have always will do. you're the ones (yanks) who dodge that responsibility.

The UK was quick to follow the US in developing Nuclear weapons.

We are against their use and have never used them in a combat situation but maintain a very powerful nuclear deterrant in the form of the Trident missile system based on nuclear submarines.

We are against them but want to make sure we are always as well equipped as the rest of the world.

Very much for. Thanks to our ownership of these weapons we have been free of major wars for over 65 years.

If we didn't have them we would need an army of at least ten times the size of the present one and we still wouldn't be secure.

No one argues with an owner of the bomb.
