Vet Tech License in Alabama?

I am from New York and am currently getting my vet tech license. I know in PA you do not need one to perform medical treatments like you do in NY. I was wondering if anyone knew the specifications of being licensed in Alabama? Or even if anyone has advise or experience? Thanks

Alabama requires that you be a graduate of an AVMA accredited veterinary technology program, have passed the VTNE and pass a state jurisprudence exam.

You can find the form and requirement to apply for licensure in Alabama here: http://www.asbvme.us/docs/Application_Veterinary_T...

The medical industry holds a wealth of different occupations from the obvious nurse and doctor occupations to adminstrative occupations. My sister really wanted to work in this field, but she wasn't sure precisely what she really wanted to do. She found the website in the resource box below, it has lots of tips and tricks, and it guided her to decide what she really wanted to do. They have help with other jobs too.
