The Department of Energy is responsible for the 2 worst recessions we have had to deal with in the past 30 years.

If we shut down the Department of Energy today, by this time next year, there would be over 2 million new jobs created in the private sector.

Department of Energy costs Americans about $1trillion a year in taxes and the increased the cost of energy.

The only one we need energy independence from is our own US Congress and their destructive Department of Energy

It was created to nurture the development of alternative energy sources. As we can all plainly see, it hasn't accomplished anything since it was created. It's a waste of taxpayers' money.
