Wasn't that amazing? I was particularly impressed with the way she attacked Venus. Of course, that's just one run through one tournament. Remember how impressive Melanie Oudin was during the US Open and now her opponents are prepared for her and beating her on a regular basis. Razai's power was surprising considering that she is not a big girl, but one thing struck me as odd. The announcers kept saying that she was uncomfortable at the net, and while I don't think she's a natural volleyer, she looked okay at the net the few times that she did come in. Her success at the French will all depend on the draw. She was fortunate in Madrid in that her opponents were not on their best surface (Jankovic may have grown up on clay, but her best surface is hard court). If Razai draws Serena, Penetta or Martinez-Sanchez, or maybe Shiavone, she'll have a real fight on her hands. Those ladies cover the clay like nobody's business. She may have the advantage of being able to overpower the Europeans, but there's no way she can overpower Serena.
