QB -- Drew Brees (He'll take the hit to make a play. Payton will get rid of ball or fall down instead of stretching the play & risk taking a big hit).

HB -- Chris Johnson (2000 yards, look up those RB & see how elite the list is)

WR -- Andrew Johnson (such a great WR being wasted away by the franchise)

TE -- Antonio Gates (unless you've got Revis in your secondary, he can't be stopped)

DT -- Sedrick Ellis (Unless it's a contract year for Haynesworth then he'd be # 1)

OLB -- Clay Matthews (Merriman hasn't produced since he stopped taking steroids. We have yet to see Cushing produce without taking any banned substances in a season).

ILB -- Ray Lewis (Belongs in jail but he's one of the most dominant defensive players to every play this game).

CB -- Nnamdi Asomugha (this guy is just as good as Revis & both of them are above everyone else. Problem is their defense sucks & he's easier to avoid as an opposing QB).

Free Safeties -- Ed Reed (Sharper had a great year but I need to see more of them to put him above Reed).

Stong Safety -- Troy Polamalu (Just look @ how the Steelers collapsed without him last year).

QB: Rodgers over Rivers, and its a push between Manning and Brees, Manning gets more publicity because of his media darling statis, but Brees puts up roughly the same numbers, on what was a less talented team.

HB: Johnson over Peterson. Johnson is more complete and doesn't fumble nearly as much.

    Williams by a hair.

WR: Johnson/Fitzgerald is a push, Ward over Driver, Moss over Welker.

TE: Finley, and Gonzalez for his career, but Gates is better now, but that has more to do with age than anything else.

DT: Haynesworth has more talent, but I'll go with Williams. Haynesworth has a tendency to take plays and even games off.

DE: Allen, more complete, and not the liability against the run that Freeney is.

OLB: Its all a push, but I'd go with Greenway and Cushing.

ILB: Lewis and its not close

CB: Asomugha and its not close. Asomugha is the best CB in the league, who rarely gets tested, no matter who he is covering, something that cannot be said of any other CB.

FS: Ed Reed and its not close.

SS: Adrian Wilson, simply because he is not as injury prone as the other two are.

I've never seen a list of more evenly matched guys. Most of these would go even on my list.

    Manning

    Peterson

    Williams

    Johnson by a hair

    Donald Driver

Randy Moss but these guys aren't the same type of receiver

    Finley

Gates mainly because he's much younger

    Haynesworth

Freeney by a millimeter just because he has more moves

    Matthews

    Cushing slightly

    Ray Lewis by a mile

Woodson(go look at asomughas stats, even though no one throws his way often, it's just too little tackles and not ints EVER)

    Ed Reed

    Polamalu

    Brees (Manning's a choker)

    Rodgers

    Peterson

    Drew

    Fitzgerald

    Ward (older timers category)

    Welker

    Finley

    Gates (Gonzalez better overall career)

    Williams

    Allen

    Matthew

    Neither both on that stuff

    Lewis (over the hill category)

    Asomugha

    Reed

Polamula won by the slightest margin. Hair looks best
