I'm more into alternative and indie rock songs, than bands.

Maybe these songs can help you find a new band, :)

"Best In The Class" by Late Of The Pier

"Making Me Nervous," by Brad Sucks

    "Struck Dumb," by the Futureheads

"Wolf Like Me," by TV On The Radio

"Let's Dance To Joy Division," by the Wombats

Good luck on finding new bands!

Foals - New album just came out, Go listen to Black Gold, Blue Blood, Spanish Sahara, and Alabaster

The whole album is just phenomenal though.

Minus the Bear - I recently saw them live not bad, Check out ' The Game needed me, Memphis and 53rd.

Arctic Monkeys- Just an over all great band, Check em on youtube.

As Tall As Lions, Very mellow band that has great songs about coping with relationship Issues(The self titled album) Their other album is pretty nice too.

Editors- Great band have a Unique singer, I liked the 'An End Has A start album better'

Everything Everything - Search My Keys, Your Boyfriend on youtube, I think youll like it, they are taking my school by storm because of me recommending them.

Paper Route- Check out Carousel, Dance on Our Graves, and Cityscape

Post War Years- Similar to Vampire weekend but they have much more complex beats, Check out White Lies.

Strata- Hot/Cold and The New National Anthem

Now let me tell you I listen to a lot of music and know alot, and in all of my endless gigabytes of

music The Band Mute Math Is my Favorite, I even Have a Whole youtube paged dedicated to them with all their songs demos and anything else i can find on them. Trust me Check them out if theres any band you should check out its them. If U2 And The Police had a baby and Radiohead was the God parent The child would be named Mutemath.

You might try this web site occasionally to keep up with new indie artists and follow those you like ... http://www.indierockcafe.com/

You may not realize it but, you can search for, listen to samples of, and buy indie music at Amazon.com ... http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_8_5?url=sea...

There are also a lot of very good indie alternative rock artists at CD Baby: http://www.cdbaby.com/Search/YWx0ZXJuYXRpdmUgcm9ja...

    Hope that helps you.
