In 1830 the United States went from the East coast (except NOT Florida).

The Westernmost border was from Michigan state line, all of Illinois, all of Montana, (and then skips Arkansas which was a territory) and then Louisiana was also included in the States.

West of that line, was the "Missouri Territory", and then Mexico, which at the time extended up through Texas and Cali, and then the "Oregon Territory", which was pretty much just Washington State, Oregon, and Idaho.
