Since HR cut one position in January last year, followed by making another one redundant in April, there has been a non-stop overtime situation in the whole department. Additionally the launch of a new system and the continuous increase in business volume have further worsened the overtime situation. Obviously we have a serious problem of manpower shortage. No other department or individual have been treated this way. Do we have to silently accept that we are inferior to others? Reorganizing individual holiday schedules is not going to solve the problem in long term.

HR department have since cut 1 headcount last January and dismissed 1 more staff on April; working overtime emerged entirely department. New system in placed with workload increased constantly, the overtime situation becomes seriously. Apparently, the problem is lacking of manpower that there is no one nor department can accept such treatment (或者, status). We are suffering by comparison with others. Would it be the only way accepts it silently? By adjusting personal leave taking, it cannot permanently solve the root of cause in a long run.
