Why do all the honest, decent, socialist presidents/leaders get assassinated/overthrown and replaced by scum?

Jacobo Arbenz Guzman, Patrice Lumumba, Daniel Ortega (though he's in power again) Salvador Allende, Thomas Sankara, Mohammed Mossagdh, Leon Trotsky, Che Guevara (the strict exception to the rule)--the list goes on and on.

I'm a proponent of Communism, and it really does suck that Trotsky got assassinated when he was in Mexico City. But the answer to your question is simple: because they were ostensibly seen as a threat.

"There was no person more feared by the CIA than Che Guevara because he had the capacity and charisma necessary to direct the struggle against the political repression of the traditional hierarchies in power in the countries of Latin America."

Much in the same way the U.S./Israel are doing or trying to achieve all throughout the Middle East, overthrow Muslim regimes that are perceived as potential threats to Zionist hegemony.

Because the CIA hit squads are terrified of them.

  • Because they are not all decent and honest. Especially Che Guevara

because they're socialist...and socialists apparently don't like honest and decent leaders.
