How can I find info on a Rebecca Jane Moore Giddings? She is my dads grandmother.?

Question

All I can find is she married Perry Clark Giddings. I found in a book Giddings in America the first 6 generations. She is listed as Jennie Moore, And on marriage license she was Rebeca Jane Moore. She was born Oct 21,1859 to 1862 in Adams County But I do not have a State. I do not know her parents. On a 1880 Census one of her kids list her as born in Indiana. One says Illinois, She is suppoed to have died on May 1st through 4th 1911 she drakn Lewis LYE. And her daughter one says Bessie., One says Albertha. But my grandma's name is Bertha Mae Giddings. I have tried tracing Rebecca through Bertha find nothing. And I can not find nothing on her. She is supposed tohave had 8 chilren and had several miscarriages my sister said that Perry and Rebecca had at least 10 or 12 kids. But getting no place on this.

Ok Samuel and Perry listed in 1880 Samuel is Perry's father. Some of Bertha's sibling are supposed to be Arthur Milton Giddings born 1885 in Missouri, and Died Jan.6 1966 I just found those dates on Missouri SSDI, and Clarence Elmer Giddings Born Aug 1882 in Quincy Illinois, Died Feb 1966 in Duluth Minnesota. Esther or Ethel Louise ( went by Lou) Giddings 1889 in Illinois died in California. Then there was a Julia Etta Gidding died 12 or 13 months old NO DATES, Etta Edith died 12 or 13 months old, Perry Giddings almost 2 year old son of Perry Giggings died Oct 21,1881 buried Mounds Cemetery. But do not have any other names. But some children are born to Perry and Jennie Moore Giddings, Some are born to Perry and J. Moore Giddings, And my grandma Bertha is the only one Born to Perry Clark giddings and Rebecca Jane Moore. But the person who told me this has found NO Documents and has a blocked email address.

The Mormons have the marriage record extracted. Perry's parents are

Samuel Giddings and Julie E. Babbit. Rebecca's aren't listed, which means they probably aren't on the marriage license, which means in turn you probably should not buy a copy.

Perry is on half a dozen data bases on RWWC.

I looked for her on the 1900 but didn't find her. Without birth years for the children she is impossible to find.

When was your grandmother born? Do you know any of her siblings names?

Rebeca in the 1880 census list her parents with unknown birth places.

Have you looked in the 1870 census? She should be listed with her parents. You can also try the local newspaper, which may have her obituary in its files. The county library and hsitorical society may also have back newspaper files or excerpts.
