    square the whole equation

    (k^0.5 = 6)^2

    k = 6^2

    Malak's answer is ideal, yet one situation he did not communicate about is how he knew ok/3 = m which he were given from the slope intercept form of the equation, element slope for is: y = mx + b So he went and solved for y and were given: y = -7/3 + ok/3 x or y = ok/3 x - 7/3 so, with the slope intercept variety, you will see that that m is interior a similar position as ok/3 for this reason m = 2 = ok/3 = 6/3

    you just square both sides

    (k^.5)^2=6^2=36=k
