Report it, forward it to the FTC at spam@uce.gov and to the abuse desk of the sender's ISP.
For yahoo, report them here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya%E2%80%A6
Choose Fraud as the reason for the violation you're reporting on.
You have your choice:
Federal Trade Commission: spam@uce.gov
Castle Cops: depositscam@coldrain.net
Internet Fraud Complaint Center: ifcc.tp@fbi.gov
FraudAid Scam Reporting Email: scamreports@fraudaid.com
Fraudwatch International: scams@fraudwatchinternational.com
FBI Internet Crimes Complaints Center http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
If anyone wants to report suspicious emails, they can go to: www.fbi.gov and click on the link on the left side of the home page that says "Report Internet Crime"

I know this one..this one of many Nigerian scams.
You could try filling out the abuse form near the bottom of this article.

There are no big money giveaways that come thru email.
If you win a lot of money, or in this case, they were looking for someone worthy to give a huge chunk of money to...... they are all scams. Advance Fee scams. Or a way to launder bad checks thru your bank account, which they also have access to, if you gave them the number.
When you get money, there are documents to sign. You dont get an email and then someone sends you a million dollars. Life doesnt work like that.

Actually you can report it but there is not a lot Yahoo can do about these scams. The messages come from computers which are taken over by hackers and used for this purpose. It is almost impossible to catch these people. The main thing is for us to be careful not to fall for their scams. Don't answer just delete them Good luck and be careful.

If they are in Africa, there is really nothing that Yahoo can do. As soon as an email address is reported for abuse and closed, the scammer just opens another one. Even if they have to open a new email account every day, they will do so.
