What can I do about the sore throat that my Ventolin HFA inhaler seems to be causing?

I only take two puffs about two to three times daily, about every eight to twelve hours. I noticed that the usual and/or common dose is two inhalations every 4 to 6 hours. It doesn't hurt to swallow, there's just a persistent soreness high up in my throat, in and behind the area of my uvula. I am a singer and the sore throat is getting bad. Any ideas?

use a nasal rinse, drink more water, treat any pain, and use a spacer. follow up with your pulmonologist.
