How do you say 'mom' in Norwegian?
What is the vocative way to say 'mom' in Norwegian (as opposed to the more formal 'mother')? Is there a formal and informal way to address parents? Is there even a vocative case in Norwegian? Thanks!

No vocative case in Norwegian. Nouns have but one case. (Although you can make them genitive by adding -s)
mor is the formal word for mother
here are the forms:
en (or ei) mor
moren or mora (the mother)
mødre -- mothers
mødrene -= the mothers
mamma can also be used (as a less formal word, perhaps like mom or mommy.)
