HELP! Where to buy mochi?

I wanted to get mochi (the kind in yogurt stores) not the mochi with the red bean in it.

Do you know where to get some?

Thanks in advance

Update:

I meant the plain mochi, like the ones in yogurt shops, not the ones with ice cream in the middle.

    Plain Mochi

  • If you go to a local japanese grocery store like Nijiya Market, there are mochi and dango. There are some specialty-type shops that sell freshly made mochi somewhere in San Francisco's and San Jose's Japantown.

Asian(Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc.) grocery stores or supermarkets sell plain mochi in common. Or try web shoppings where you can see selling mochi so many.

Do you mean the mochi ice cream stuff? Cuz that's AMAZING. If not, you can buy either at any Asian market in your area. They should have that.

    Please answer mine, everyone! :)
