Why won't the command ipconfig work on cmd prompt?

It says this:

'ipconfig' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

Help?

    Sounds like your environment variables may have wrong path. Go to My Computer-> right click-> Properties->Advanced->Environment

    Variables->System variables and locate Path Environment Variable. Add C:\windows\system32;C:\windows\; at the

    end if it is not already there. or you can always download or copy ipconfig from another computer. the ipconfig util will need to be copied to your system23 directory.

    You CAN see your really ip address using Cmd just start > run > type: cmd ipconfig /all In IPv4 address it'll show your actual ip Hope this helps ;)
