Not that I'm saying it's impossible, but Jet Li has been at wushu since what? he was like 7 years old?
When you begin something that young simply biological science kicks in and puts you a cut above the rest. Just his neuron and synapse configuration alone could beat you not even considering he was trained in a very prominent chinese martial art, the pure way. When Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai people? learn martial arts in the countries they originate in it's FOR REAL. It's not the same watered down crap we get in the form of belt factories and Mcdojahngs.
I knew a guy that i taught Taekwondo with from Thailand. One day he was telling me about learning Muay Thai in Thailand because we were teaching the students about kick blocking and how to toughen up thier legs so it didn't hurt so much when you used a shin or knee to block. He would tell me when he was a kid Muay Thai was part of their cirriculum in school. Kids here have gym kids there have martial arts. They would toughen their shin skin by kicking stalks of bamboo and that they would throw rocks at each other to improve their reflexes.
The moral here is there's a good chance Jet Li went through hell to hone his body into what it is now. No matter how hard you work or train he may very well still mop the floor with you. Size and muscle mass very rarely have a significant impact in a real fight. Technique, speed, talent, and tact will almost always beat out muscle, strength, and overwhelming size every time.
people always equate strength to power, they forget there is two parts to power's generation: speed times strength
