When was the last time North Carolina had a earthquake?

    Small earthquakes occur everywhere in the world every day. You just might not feel it because the vast majority of them are incredibly minor. I would venture to say Today somewhere in NC has experienced a 1-2 on the Richter scale.

    North Carolina does not lie on a fault line and therefore cannot have an earthquake.
