Don't worry about the size, I'm 30 yrs old 6'3" 220 lbs and own one...so size is not this issue. I can however tell you this, this is a 3/4 size guitar, there are quite a few out there like this. I actually prefer the tone of a simple cheap ($99) Fender Squire travel 3/4 size guitar (which I own). I went in to get a Taylor baby and came out with this, I needed something I could throw in my trunk and not really care if it got "hurt". Really here with this size guitar, all you are doing is paying for the name. There are better travel guitars for muuuuuch cheaper. My advise is play about 5 at your local guitar shop, don't even look at what kind it is. $300 is alot to pay for this size guitar when you can get a Taylor 110 for $599 which is a full sized Taylor that will last a lifetime and is a great guitar. Go with something cheaper for this size please. I love Taylor always will, but just waaaaaaay too much $ for this size/type of instrument. The tone is not going to vary much, really check out the Fender Squire,
Owner of a 3/4 size travel guitar, been playing for years. Also own MANY other high end Taylor, Takamine, and Martin acoustics.
