    Henrietta Lacks' 'Immortal' Cells

Did you know that some of the first human cells studied were that of a black woman named Henrietta Lacks?

Henrietta's cells were also a few of the first human cells mapped for the human genome and cloning.

The Steven Colbert interview with Rebecca Skloot the author of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is really short (about 10 min), funny, and chalked full of information you can write your report on.

If you go to Amazon.com and read a few of the costumer written reviews on The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks you may get some good information for your report.

Likewise you can always go to Wikipedia and find information there.
