Omg this is so easy . . .
Insert flash drive into usb slot on computer (any slot will suffice as long as it is on the same computer)
Next wait for the balloon message at the bottom of the screen. it may tell you that it had found new hardware and will install the appropriate driver. In any case when it say new hardware is ready to use it is done processing the new drive.
Finally double click the my computer icon. Your flash drive should be located there and usually it is called removable disk (E:) or what ever the next drive lettter that is available (note it usually will never be drive A, B, C, or D as commonly these drives are reserved for floppy A: or B:; harddrive C:, and cd\dvd rom drive for D:
Confirm that the drive is properly running and that it is formatted, if it is being used for the first time it may ask to be formatted first. This is okay.
Double click on the removable disk and leave it open. Then quickly tab back to any application and when you save, save it to the drive letter that your flash disk is located at.
Important:make sure the program that is saving data to your flash drive has finished saving and the program is closed before removing your flash drive. You can possibly corrupt your data and it can become unusable.
