Spanish Double Object Pronouns?

Could someone help me understand how to do this?

So I'm giving a question in spanish and I have to answer it using double object pronouns.

The example giving was...

¿Quién te compró esos zapatos? (mi tío)

Mi tío me los compró.

But I still don't understand how to solve this!

Here is one of the questions...

¿A quiénes les escribiste las cartas? (a ellos)

Any suggestion on how to do this?

Update:

For the first question, which says...

¿A quiénes les escribiste las cartas? (a ellos)

I entered in...

Se las escribiste.

But it said that the answer was wrong!

Pronouns are always quite tricky in Spanish. Just remember that you need to identify the OD (Objeto Directo) and the OI (Objeto Indirecto)... in English, the DO (Direct Object) and IO (Indirect Object).

    ------------

DO: What the verb is directly affecting. Usually answers the question: "What?" or "Whom?"

ex. Sally hit Bill. (Hit whom? Bill. Therefore, Bill is the OD)

Sally hit the ball. (Hit what? The ball. Ball = OD)

You can replace the OD with the following pronouns, keeping in mind masculine and feminine:

    me (me)

    te (you-familiar)

lo, la (him, her, it, you-formal)

    nos (us)

    os (you-all-familiar)

    los, las (them, you-all-formal)

    -------------------------------

IO: The Indirect Object answers the question "To whom?" or "For whom?"

ex. "Sally tiró la pelota a nosotros": DO=pelota, IO=nosotros (us).

    "Sally nos la tiró."

The IO can be replaced by:

    me (me)

    te (you-familiar)

    le (him, her, you-formal)

    nos (us)

    os (you-all-familiar)

    les (them, you-all-formal)

With the exception being when both pronouns both begin with "l", like "le lo" and "les las", you will need to replace the OI with "se", like "se lo" and "se las".

There's a lot more to explain about pronouns, so go to the links I've provided below.

And in answer to your example question:

¿A quiénes les escribiste las cartas? (a ellos)

OD = las cartas (feminine plural) = las

OI = a ellos (masculine plural) = les

but they both begin in "l", so change the OI to "se"

¿A quiénes les escribiste las cartas?

    Se las escribí a ellos.

(you add the extra "a ellos" to be more specific).

    Hope this helps. :)

    -------------------------

    So the question is:

¿A quiénes les escribiste las cartas? (a ellos)

To whom did you write the letters?

You need to answer the question with, "I wrote the letters to them", but using pronouns.

"Se las escribiste (a ellos)" is incorrect because it is saying, "You wrote them to them".

You need to re-conjugate the verb into first person (yo), not second person (tu). Therefore, it should read,

¿A quiénes les escribiste las cartas?

    Se las escribí a ellos.

¿Quién te compró esos zapatos para ti?

Mi tio me los compró para mi.

The other sentence has 2 pronouns already--quiénes and les.

    Is this what you wanted?

Que Dios le bendiga a usted.

The verb disturbing was once mistaken in character. "Mis amigas", this means that "my peers", method that there's a couple of character, so for this reason, you have to do the third character plural of "llevar." By the accessory on "lleve", you're looking to make a preterite disturbing of llevar, and the proper variety demands to be "llevaron." Therefore, it must be "Mis amigas me los llevaron." The entire reply method "My peers stuffed me to them."
