Do you have to go to film school to become or an actor or director or even just a screen writer?

and what film schools are good? can you list about 5-10

    Heck no!!!! ESPECIALLY FOR ACTING. They're like workshops or something. Go get an agent and basically go on auditions. Screen writer maybe but at the end of the day you still need connections. Film school woutd be good for being a director, producer, screen writer, they'll give insight and possibly connections (but if you really wanna do well you should go to UCLA or NYU or whatever George Lucas's school is in Carolina.

    Oh and as far as acting you can be in local plays and stuff. Or high school play.

    becoming a able director/author isn't any distinctive than becoming able in the different line of artwork. in case you artwork hard and are good at what you do you would be able. in case you slack off and merely anticipate which you would be able you will fail.
