Bipartisan Questions: Why does government think they can undo corruption with more corruption?

What makes government (any government) believe they can legislate the conditions of the human heart (greed, lust, cheating, deceit, stealing, lying, etc.?) Does government add to or lessen these conditions?

I am more concerned now than ever about our nation. Greed and corruption is BIPARTISAN. Agree or Disagree? What is the solution? Is there a solution?

Thanks

Greed and corruption are part of humanity. The government is a reflection of the people...only magnified. All politicians are corrupt, they are barely human though.

The way to solve corruption in government is two simple things:

    1. Transparency. Something we were promised with Obama that is now revealed as one of the most secretive administrations. He has far less press conferences than even Bush.

    2. Term limits. If you did not have these life long politicians working hand in hand with lobbyists and special interests for decades, it would cut down on the corruption and the damge that corruption causes.

Greed and corruption is universal. No human is God, and given the opportunity to play God, humans will ultimately succumb to greed and corruption. The solution is to not let humans make decision for other humans. There should not be a bloated government, with an annual budget of 3+ trillion dollars. With such a big and bloated government making decisions for everybody, who doesn't want that power?

So, the solution is to dramatically shrink the size of government. Cut the government down to size, maybe to just less than a percent of GDP as oppose to 40% of GDP. No, we can't stop greed and corruption but we can certainly stop the effects of greed and corruption. If the government is small, then it does not matter whether politicians are greedy or corrupted.

You are right. Greed and corruption are bipartisan. I will though blame the democratic party for the demoralization of this country. It started with bill clinton and then was accepted. It is the democrats who support abortion and always provide the money to perform them. It is the democratic party that rubs elbows with the likes of ACORN. And it is the democratic party that has introduced blatant corruption in the political process. True enough the corruption was there before, but not to this degree. They are tainting the minds of the youth of this country and it seems until we adopt their marxist agenda they will not stop. We must stop them.

I doubt if there is somebody whatsoever who believes that there is corruption in government who concurrently believes that each and each guy or woman outdoors of government engaged in "inner maximum" habit is a saint. of direction corruption exists in "the internal maximum sector" too. Accepting a bribe is a uncomplicated sort of government corruption, and the bribe exceptionally much continuously comes from a "inner maximum sector" guy or woman who needs something from government. so as that occasion of corruption is a 2-way highway.
