Help! Wierd lump on my neck!!!?

I woke up this morning and my neck was really sore and I just felt a lump on my neck, kind of behind my ear. Its sore to the touch and really hurts when I move my neck, and ideas of what this is???

Sounds like an inflamed lymph node. Which is a sign of infection. Could be as minor as an irritated tooth, a sinus or ear infection, cat scratch fever (if you've been around cats), or as serious as Hodgkin's lymphoma. See a doctor if it doesn't go away on its own in a day or two.

It could be an enlarged lymph node, but since there's pain it's also possible you have a cyst or infection in your ear. That's nothing to fool around with. It sounds weird. You have a fresh cut on your ear? Did something bite you, causing a reaction or infection? Go get it checked out by your doctor.
