Did health care reform pass only because John Boehner is the weakest opposition party leader in history?

He did okay. All the Republicans were obedient to their leaders, just like they always are. They did precisely what they were told to do.

No. It seems to me that a leader that can get every single member of his party to support his position is pretty strong. If Boehner is weak what about Pelosi what had trouble passing a bill with a 40 vote majority.

No it passed because they want this country to be turned into a socialist country. This new health care is f**cked up and it is only going to hurt the WORKING class. Taxes will become much higher and If one of us gets seriously ill this new health care system can deny you any treatment if they feel you are not eligible. That means you will DIE and so are so many other people who are going to be f**cked by this sh!t. the only people that actually support it are lazy a$$e$ who do not want to get out there and work and pay for their own health care aka Democrats.

But don't worry, they'll start complaining about it and eating their words just like what they're doing with Obama.

surely, the actuality that it became Pelosi's advice is inaccurate. It became a advice of the history starting up and the Republicans decrease back in 1993 with their selection reform plan to Hillary's. besides the actual incontrovertible actuality that he would are starting to be it surpassed with out it, it would have doomed the act from the very starting up. the significant motive force of health care prices on the prompt is procuring the costs of the uninsured. with out insisting that actual everyone belong to the crew, prices does not be spread over adequate human beings to make it less costly. The Swiss figured this out two decades in the past and surpassed a plan with a mandate that is rather comparable to "Obamacare". that is operating quite properly over there, yet they admitted from the starting up that it won't be able to be an settle on-in plan and nevertheless comprise prices.

It passed because the Republicans didn't have the numbers to stop it, plain and simple. The entire party as a whole voted against it and it still passed.
