Other than boiling vegtbls (carrot/peas/greenbeans/broccoli/cauliflower), what are the ways of preparing them?

currying them might be an option, but what are other ways?

    steam them

    stir fry them

    bake them

    broil them

    grill them

    mash them

    bread them

    deep fry them

    marinate them

    eat them raw

    use them in a casserole

    make a soup

    make a stew

    make a chili

    make a gumbo

    make a sandwich

    make a pizza

    make a salad

    make a specific dish, such as eggplant parmesan or potatoes au gratin

    And of course there are many, many more.

    You could do Chinese Stir Fry and cook them in a pan with a little "Pam Spray" (substitute for oil) which would still make it healthy, but would better retain the vitamins in the food. When you boil the vegetables alot of the nutrients gets boiled out.

    I'm 3rd generation Chinese and stir fry/saute' retains more of the nutrients in the vegetables. You can add some ginger of garlic with them as either of them would give it a nice flavor.

    If you do try stir fry, you might want to try Chinese Bok Choy, which you can find in almost any grocery store. It is full of great vitamins. My grandmother used to cook Bok Choy all the time. When she had a stroke in her late 70's, my Mom taught me how to stir fry the Bok Choy and a little flank steak sliced thinly along with rice for her to eat while my Mom was at work.

    You can even cut up an onion and throw it in as it will add more flavor, too.
