Fashions for women changed quite a bit after WW1, skirst became shorter, and women stopped wearing corsets. Flat chests were fashionable, as was short hair. Women took to wearing makeup, and sunbathing became fashionable for the first time ever. Slim women were admired, and women took to dieting.
Jazz music was enormously popular, with singers like Mamie Smith and Bessie Smith being hugely successful, and bands like those of Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, etc. Dances like the Charleston, the Foxtrot, and the Black Bottom were all the rage. Prohibition was in force in America, so people went to 'speakeasies' secret clubs where they could drink alcahol.
The cinema was immensely popular in the 20s, most people went at least once a week. Film stars were adored. Some of the most popular stars included Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, Theda Bara, Tallulah Bankhead, Clara Bow, Pola Negri, Rudolph Valentino, Dorothy and Lillian Gish, and the comedians Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd and Buster Keaton.
Flying was a popular recreation for men and women in the 20s. Charles Lindberg was the first man to fly the Atlantic solo in 1927.
A good film that gives a good feel for America in this era is 'Some Like It Hot' which is a very funny film and gives quite a good idea of 20s America.
The Great Depression really belongs more to the 1930s, as it started in 1929, afer the Wall Street Crash, and lasted until the beginning of WW2 (1941 in America).

in the 1920's Henry Ford and the Ford vehicle business enterprise created a mass production of sort-T autos, however the present parking plenty have been way inadequate and the stoplights only had green and purple which brought about injuries, as many as twenty in line with day. And there became into the silent cinema comedian video clips, like the movies of Chaplin or Laurel and Hardy.
