How do you stop erections after being circumcised?
My boyfriend has recently had a circumcision for medical reasons but now he is getting very frequent erections that cause him a great deal of pain (as you can imagine at this point when he is still healing). We've tried pretty much everything we could think of e.g. cold showers, thinking un-sexy thoughts etc but they just keep happening and every time it does the bleeding starts again. Can anybody think of something that can help him please?
Ok I should add that the bleeding is coming from the area where the foreskin was cut away, mostly from the stitched area underneath the penis. There has also been some puss we have been to doctor for antibiotics against infection which he is now taking to no apparent effect as of yet. FYI medical circumcisions are very common; it was not for religious reasons or because of any other reason except that the foreskin was too long and tight making sex and masturbation either impossible or difficult in general. THAT is why it was removed ok, nobody paid to have this done!!

Ask the doctor if he can prescribe medication to help. I kept ice packs next to the bed, erection will get your attention after being circumcised. It is all well worth it.
I was circumcised at 18 and can assure you being circumcised is far superior to be uncut! There is no loss of sensitivity and it is not mutilation. Circumcision actually improves sexual function. An uncut guy is basically just masturbating inside his partner, while a circumcised guy gives and receives direct pleasure from his partner.
Being circumcised is also much cleaner, I could careless what the antis say, but uncut guys can wash 3x a day and still have an odor. It is also much healthier to be circumcised, uncircumcised males have a 60% higher chance of acquiring HIV and STDs through heterosexual intercourse. It also looks much better, an anteater is not pleasnt to the eye!
Being circumcised is so far superior that I had no hesitation to have my 3 boys (5,3,10mo) circumcised, as I know that there is no downside, only a lifetime of benefitsSource(s): Life experience

Well i thought Dr. Kyron MacMannis above could have given you some good advice on how to stop it but instead he raved on about how bad Circumcision is and was no help to you at all which brings me to the conclution he isn't a Doctor at all, Try ice packs and when he does get an erection try holding the skin forward so it doesn't stretch on the stitches, if it happens in bed lie on his side and bring the knees up, it will help to stop it stretching, this the advice a Real doctor gave me when i had mine done and it worked, anyway saying all that i doubt this is really a legitimate question anyway going on your join by date.
And to say no one needs to be Circumcised is ridiculous, i couldn't even orgasm through intercourse before i got Circumcised, and my foreskin was easily retractable to, I'm glad i got done, it helped me.

Erectile Dysfunction can be devastating to men, and unfortunately, millions of men suffer from the condition. Learn how to cure erectile dysfunction https://tr.im/NaturalCureForErectileDysfunction
If you go to the doctor to talk about the issue, you’re likely to get put on one or more of the popular medications used to treat the condition. While they can be effective (temporarily), these medications come with a raft of side effects, some of which are decidedly unpleasant. Even worse, these medications aren’t really a cure, they’re more like a temporary workaround.
Worst of all, they tend to be really expensive. Month after month, you’re having to pay to work around your condition. That’s what the Big Pharmaceutical companies want.

There really isn't anyway that will work. You will be able to get an erection however depending on how much your little fella grows from soft to hard the stitches may pull tight and be uncomfortable while your erect. You will live however.

Male sexual arousal is a complex process that involves the brain, hormones, emotions, nerves, muscles and blood vessels. To solve the erectile dysfunction i suggest to check this natural method https://tr.im/4Tev5 .
Erectile dysfunction can result from a problem with any of these. Likewise, stress and mental health problems can cause or worsen erectile dysfunction. Sometimes a combination of physical and psychological issues causes erectile dysfunction. For instance, a minor physical problem that slows your sexual response may cause anxiety about maintaining an erection. The resulting anxiety can lead to or worsen erectile dysfunction.

I know it's going to sound ridiculous, but something that CAN help get rid of an erection is urinating. So, if he drinks a lot of fluids, and waits to go to the bathroom, maybe it will give him more time to heal. I suggest something like cranberry juice so it will help prevent any issues from holding his bladder.
It's just an idea... good luck!

How do you make people realise that you do not need to get circumcised! Why not ask for a second opinion when someone tries the "medical reasons" story?
The only reason is because their doctors and hospitals make a huge amount of money out of it. They get money for the procedure then go on to sell the foreskins on the world market for skin grafts and other uses. Quite a motivation when you think of the millions of dollars this business generates. To heck with the morals of the thing - just make money!
Circumcision is cruel. It does not make a person cleaner, neater, safer, better or any other advantage. What it does is to take away the natural protection of the penis and remove countless sensory perceptors that contribute to making the penis an asset to men's sexuality.
It is as good to be circumcised as it is to cut off your eyelid so your eye no longer has the protection and lubrication it was designed to have. A male was born with a foreskin for a reason, and it was not so it could be cut off!Source(s): Specialist Doctor of Andrology
