What do you think of the name Alma?

How would you pronounce it? What middle names and sibling names seem to work well with it? Thanks!

I thought that this was my #1 name, but then my FIL pronounced it AL-muh, so now I'm second-guessing.

I would pronounce it with a long a Aal-ma. I like that it means soul. I don't love it but it's not bad.

    Alma Cecilia

Alma and Delia, Alma and Marina, Alma and Antony.

Al-ma. The name means soul. If the middle name flows with it, it'll work.

Oh jeeze.... If you live in Utah you will fit right in! everyone here is named Alma, Nephi, Harium, Jedidiah, all book of mormon or bible names.... personally I do not like them.

    and it is pernounced Al-muh.

Why dont you go with something like

or something not too common but please stray form the preachy names... unless that is what you are going for.
