What were the crimes of Che Guevara?
I understand and heard of him being involved in political crimes, in which most Communists are, but what exactly were they? And if these crimes exist, whe is this ridiculous man so idiolized in the U.S. which is an extremely anti-communist country?

He's idolized because most people have no idea that he was personally responsible for at least one murder and trained squads of assassins to eliminate people who didn't support his revolution. His political philosophy forbade free elections, private ownership of land, and religion of any kind. When farmers refused to give up their fields to Guevara's lackeys, they were executed on the spot. His own quotations show him to have been a complete narcissist with no moral compass. Here's an example:
"To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary...These procedures are an archaic bourgeois detail. This is a revolution! And a revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate. We must create the pedagogy of the The Wall! (El Paredón)" --Ernesto 'Che' Guevara
I suspect Guevara's popularity is what happens when marketing geniuses dress up a turd for mass consumption by an uneducated and voluntarily ignorant public. Che's groupies have no idea that he'd sooner put bullets in their mushy brains than walk around them.

Che's "CRIMES" were
~ Overthrowing a brutal U$ backed dictator allied with the Mafia (Batista)
~ Stopping American companies from owning 70 % of the arable land in Cuba
~ Teaching peasants to read, by bringing the Cuban literacy rate from 60 to 97 %
~ Having the 200 or so War Criminals who killed 20,000 Cubans for Batista shot against a wall
~ Speaking out against South African Apartheid to the UN in 1964
~ Fighting white mercenaries in the African Congo with an all black army
~ Speaking out against U$ and eventually USSR Imperialism while demanding that the poor of the world be allowed to live a life of dignitySource(s): "Che was the most complete human being of our age." --- Jean Paul Sartre

First everything he did was a crime. He helped overthrow a government. (Just like the founding fathers were criminals to the British Empire) That was completely justified though. He helped overthrow Fulgencio Batista a worse dictator that Fidel Castro (His successor after the overthrow (Anyone who denys this is completely ignorant of history). The only difference is Fulgencio Batista was USA's b**** and Fidal Castro refused to give in to the USA and that's why the US now hates CUBA.You would thing overthrowing a dictator would be good, even if you replace him with a Dictator that's less repressive.

There are no known references to him as being a criminal. He was a leftist active in the Congo and Latin America. He was leading a force against the Bolivian government when he was killed in 1967. He was 39 years of age.
